what do you do ... when you can't go to the gym? 🏋️‍♂️

I was a dance fitness athlete performing with Team Reebok to promote fitness (and the first cross training athletic shoes, of course)


I grew up at the gym.


I don't know about you, but I've kinda struggled with feeling like a goddess since sheltering-in-place, because exercising with my girls at the gym was always my home, playground, place of connection and community. 


Here's a little something that you might not know about me...

My very first job after graduating high school was at Women's Workout World .


This little gym was where all the ladies in the hood would go to socialize, support each other, even exercise a little ... and feel damn good about it.


This was a gathering of goddesses -- all ages, shapes, sizes and unique expressions of strength, humor, compassion and beauty.  I was home.


I joined this little neighborhood gym with my mom and my grandma ... two weeks later I was working there, teaching fitness classes, weighing and measuring the ladies, creating fitness plans ... and THAT was the very start of my career in women's wellness at the age of 17.


I've taught thousands of fitness classes since 1984 -- ALL of them at the gym.


COVID-19 has made going to the gym more of a health hazard than a healthy meeting place.

And, let's be real. We all know that some gyms can be downright filthy. 🤢​


We've all had to adjust to a new way of being. These days, I am appreciating my kitchen as my own personal makeshift gym. I am not into that heavy breathing, hands all over everything, sweat-flying type of environment right now. 😷

I'm staying fit in my kitchen with super simple, super sexy exercises to cultivate my fitness and my goddess energy, all at the same time.

The only thing I'm missing is you.

I miss my support squad. My tribe of sisters. The gathering of goddesses that used to feed me.

Yes, you can get fit in the kitchen ... AND feel like a goddess doing it 💃🏻 Who's with me??!
